I’m really sick of this…
Every single week it seems there are 5 – 10 new products coming out, each with massive proof of profits…
And each system is touted as so simple to do that virtualy anyone can “duplicate” the product developers success.
How many of these products have you personally purchased? Have any of them made you any money at all?
Don’t feel bad if you haven’t earned a single dime. I test many of these products and I often don’t make any money either.
I seriously can’t take it anymore. I’m truly sick and tired of all the pitches and marketing hype!
Now don’t get me wrong, there is good stuff coming out…
BUT there’s so much noise in the marketplace, it’s hard to seperate the quality stuff from the crap.
So, it’s time for a big change around here…
I’ve decided to start sharing systems and techniques that work… and I’ll do so right here on this blog.
I’m going to post high-quality content and teach you things I personally do that actually generate real results.
Plus, I’m going to be doing a lot of testing, so you’ll be the first to know when something works or totally bombs.
I’m going to share everything with you… the good, the bad and the ugly!
Please be sure to comment and leave any thoughts or questions you might have.
I’d really love to hear if you’ve had any success online yet or not. What challenges do you face and what are your goals?
Have an awesome day!

Hi Jeff,
It’s nice to know that you’ll provide techniques that word cause I have seen a lot of new products and all owners claim that their products could get you thousands of dollars easily.
I can’t wait to read your next tips
Craig October 21st
Jeff you most likely are correct and most of these programmes are rehashed information however like any business the level of sucess depends on the person driving it. example 10 yr old successful business gets sold to new owners…..6 months later the business folds through lack of experience, poor customer service, unclean retail shop and the 100 hundred other things they changed from original owners. .
I find IM depends on the person implementing it and their staying power, desire to suceed and so on plus it helps if you have IM in your veins. I have always been a fan of your style as a straight shooter so will be interested what you put up on your new site Cheers
Trevor October 21st
I agree with you about all the white noise in the IM industry.
When an e-mail arrives in my inbox about a product that virtually anyone can use just by pushing a button, I immediately delete it or ignore it. If it sounds to good to be true…u know the rest
.
Nick October 21st
Thanks Jeff,
Finally, the honest truth. I too am sick and tired of the cr*p and have recently been unsubscribing from many so-called guru’s mailing lists and I’ve decided that I don’t need to buy any more IM products! However, having the heads up on what’s working and not working will be useful to keep tabs on. Thanks in anticipation. Looking forward to it.
Bienvenu October 21st
Hey Jeff,
Welcome to “this side”…
It seems like everybody has got great stuff. The most depressing thing is when otherwise great marketers push crap to unsuspecting newbies. They immediately lose all credibility! I have been busy lately unsubscribing from the lists of such people lately. It felt gooood!

Sounds Great, Jeff! I’ve followed you for years, and you seem like one of the few “real deals.”
Like you, I’m about to PUKE at the latest and greatest new “loophole…”
There ain’t no loopholes, period. It’s just all crap, being bought by LAZY people…
You get PAID when you WORK! Then you can vacation all you want? Right?

There is so much crap out there with false statements on the sales pages.
Also people who I though I could trust are promoting some of this junk. It just turns me right off and makes me hit the un-subscribe button.
If I do find something that interests me or something I think might be useful then I go to Google and try to find an honest review, before I part with my hard earned dollars.
Jay October 21st
Hey Jeff,
Thanks for telling it like it is… and doing something about it. I’ll be following along to see what’s the real deal and what isn’t.
As far as the “product of the minute” launches, I’ve developed a more discriminating eye with a few rules that I follow:
I look at WHO is releasing the product and their past history. Stuff from the guys who have been doing IM for years “in the trenches” means more to me than something from some guy who just made $ XXXX in 30 days.
I look at the “sales” pitch. If it doesn’t reveal any real info about the product it pretty much tells you that it is a “trick” based tactic. Not always bad but a cause to be on the alert. Also, if the sales pitch is all hype… lookout.
I consider who sent me the promo email. If it comes from someone I respect and know as a straight shooter it means more than getting a promo from someone who promotes every release under the Sun.
Finally, if I buy it and it’s not what I expected or what was advertised, or if it is a piece of crap… I get a refund.
I’m sure that you can save us all a great deal of time, money and disappointment… and am looking forward to following along.
Kat October 21st
This is great idea Jeff, I feel the same and I am doing this for more then 10 years. I was able to make money with just few things, most of the offers I receive is hype or one time promotion from guys who want to make a lot of money fast. My money would always come from SBI quality sites or articles well written. Not much but some money, I would like to find something that last and something I can create success every time I do it. I don’t mind work and I don’t mind to pay for value. This is going to be great blog. Well done Jeff
Fred October 21st
So far you got it right…add to it a total waste of time. So if you do a blog number keep it short and meaty.
Thanks
John Carter October 21st
This hopefully will be a welcome relief.
I’ve been making money on the internet since 1998 and I can’t believe the junk and the junk guru’s out there.
There is no ‘secret’ sauce that will make you rich. Success comes in doing and testing. Look for tools that help you test and motivation that gets you off your butt.
TroyNotes October 21st
Hey Jeff,
I hear ya, it’s amazing how many people fake proof these days, or the proof is from 5 months ago before google changed things or the technique got tapped out.
I think one of the worse part especially with the gurus is many make money doing things entirely different than what they teach. Several big products only built for the sake of making money off the biz opp crowd and are thrown together…after the course has been sold.
As an former educator, it made me feel good that students could demonstrate proficiency in what I teach them, and even pass it on without it stopping to work. I get the feeling online that 50% of the products out there are based on gimmicks and quickly are stamped/tapped out. As a businessman that’s scary, business here today, gone tomorrow.
There have been some real product stinkers lately too! blind offers, basically bait and switch tactics. Makes me feel like some dirty scummy car salesman, even being in the same industry with them.
I am following a similar high value, low noise, no-bullsh!t when looking at the products. Sadly running several companies don’t have much time to write what I learn…it certainly has good, bad and ugly.
One tip I have, is unsubscribing from the pusher gurus, and those who don’t respond back to you.
As for questions I’d love to hear who you follow and why.
Troy.
Rob Oresteen October 21st
Well done, Jeff.

Hi Jeff…I’m a 70 year old guy who’s been trying to make money on-line for several years and here’s what pisses me off more than anything. The constant stream of upsells that follow the purchase of a product that was touted as being the next best thing to the divine Goddess! It’s so damned discouraging and depressing to plunk down anywhere from $37 to $97 or more, and then be told before you even get to see what you bought, that unless you purchase one, two, maybe even three more products, the one you did buy won’t work nearly as well as claimed in the sales page. I consider that to be fraud!
Anatoly October 21st
Hi Jeff,
I guess the honest people have to unite against all these so called “opportunity sellers” because the entire Internet Community became a marketplace for the BS sellers.
The normal people lose the faith and the honest marketers lose the opportunity to be heard because nobody knows who to trust.
The changes should come inevitably!
John M. October 21st
I had pretty good luck a few years ago with Traffic Equalizer–you probably remember that one. LOL For the last year I’ve been building XFactor sites and doing fairly well; of course John, who wrote the XFactor ebook, has all but disappeared along with the very good forum he started.
Other than that, some success with Amazonian Profit Plan, but the rest of the things I’ve tried have produced minimal-to-no results. No matter which program is being touted, the main problem is always getting sufficient traffic to your sites to make any money.
Valerie October 21st
Hi Jeff,
I will be making it a point to return to this blog for your product recommendations. I have been unsubscribing from lists like crazy. Too many emails and everyone is always trying to sell the next big thing.
Alan October 21st
Terrific idea – I agree with you – my email box is full of noisy make-money offers, many of which seem silly. I’m looking forward to hearing what you have to say.

Why don’t even some of the Gurus leave off their contact information on their sales pages? This is an immediate warning sign for me not to buy their products. If the marketer offers great support and proves he’s honest he gets my vote.
Neil October 22nd
i have tried umpteen different systems and software and nothing worked. until just recently, i tried G Sneak and i was a beta tester, and set the site up as directed in the videos in G Sneak members area for the G Sneak launch, and low and behold a week of sales. i was so excited my first sale it felt great and i went on to have $187 of sales until bam refunds and i made $45 net balance and i cant even get it cos i dont meet the distribution requirements of clickbank . i feel we are fighting a never ending wall of red tape . Help us out gurus give us what is working now not 5 years ago

Hi Jeff,
THANK YOU!!
Finally, I’ve found a gleaming shimmering rock of substance amidst the pure “dreck” and “drivel” of the IM industry!
I appreciate your insight and your willingness to share it with the rest of us who have….HAD IT UP TO OUR ASSES with the “GOO-ROOZ” lies and bullshit!

Jeff,
Forgive me, but you used to hit my mailbox pretty darn hard in your heyday of product development
Now, I think many new products for the most part are junk, but you know as well as I do, they are only doing it because that squeeze page format happens to do something magical to people and turn their brains completely off.
Add to that, high unemployment rate and money making is a pretty good product to sell right now.
It will be fun to see what you get going here… do I smell a training membership site cooking???
Dominick Savillo October 22nd
Your intentions are exactly what many people need. Straight to the point without any fluff that “it’s the latest can’t miss product”.
Just show me what you got and how you used it without claiming huge earnings.
I’m tired of seeing the same marketers promoting the next best thing to everyone only to turn around and promote something else the very next day right after they claimed they have found the golden goose the day before.
George October 22nd
Great! Thanks Jeff – let me know how I can help – George
Ted October 22nd
Hi Jeff,
This is one subject that pisses me off. Some people I respect are telling me they are junk products. But what really pisses me off is that some well known marketers that have reached the “guru” level and have won the trust of their readers are pawning this crap off to their lists, such as Brunson and Singal. I also agree the gentleman above that the 3-4-5 upsells are f##king annoying.
I am about to get on Warrior Forum and just tell everyone, when the product is crap and there are multiple upsells touting that you need to buy it for the original offer to work, to buy it all, download it, then apply for the refund. Thats right, get it all for free. Consumer revenge on the scammers who create the crap and gurus who abuse the trust of their lists.
Shannon October 22nd
I just purchase AutoMassTraffic. It appears to be really good and I’m going to be launching my first campaign, hopefully by the end of this week. However, I’m a bit disgusted of the claim that this very limited amount they were going to sell is a load of crap. Then I have received tons of affiliate promos (obviously I’m on too many lists) of almost identical products. I just hope this works.
I purchased Blogging to the Bank’s latest piece of crap as well. They never delivered so after about 2 months of waiting and them sending me emails to just get a refund from clickbank, even though I said I wanted the product not a refund, I took them up on that refund.
So disappointing. I appreciate that you are going to help us find products that do as they say, so we can start making some money online.
Thank you much.
Jonathan Ginsberg October 22nd
Looking forward to hearing what you have to say.
Timothy October 22nd
What I noticed is that most of the packages promoted only talked about how much money they have made, but none of them tell you what is in the product or service they were offering or even demos… If Microsoft would sell their products using the same approach, it would not have sold a single software. It is also so strange that most of the products sold for $37, then a $10 discount; and the sales copies and method of presentations were almost identical including their sale page designs, making one to wonder if these were all the same info just rehashed by designers. Once thing for sure, these emails only waste our precious time in cleaning them or moving them to junk folder.
Charles October 22nd
right on!
What most do not tell you is the AMOUNT OF WORK using a method to derive that level of profit. Crap, I could make $100,000k in 1 month with article marketing IF I had 500 people to write 20 well spun articles a day using different keywords – I am certain of it. You could blanket the crap out of every article directory out there, get any site short term ranked etc – but its not sustainable long term.
That and the fact they lie about costs or just choose to exclude them. Profits = net after costs. Almost any program out there only shows REVENUES, which is very misleading, and says they are PROFITS. They have done this for years with PPC stuff.
Additionally, most of the guys promoting this stuff have years of experience, have built up massive lists, have multiple high traffic sites, which makes it much easier for any “method” to work if you utilize what you have already built but do not tell the public. Because most of the internet is anonymous, it would be next to impossible for anyone to tell where the sales or traffic came from, unless they were dumb enough to straight redirect traffic from a site they already own.
mike October 22nd
I bought 2 products last week it’s totally crap. So I don’t believe the product try to give a discount price after exit 2 or more times. Sometime they sell only not more than 10$. How these products can make a lot money with a cheap system.
Dan Keating October 22nd
I will be waiting with held breath. As an online marketer and publisher it is difficult to separate it works from it does not. I have tried many of these new things coming out and the one click and your done is a dream. Good thing they all come with a 60 day guarantee.
Chicago Attorneys October 22nd
Jeff, I’m glad to hear you will be sharing your successes (and failures) here. If I have to opt in to see one more video about the latest and greatest product, I think I’m going to throw up. Its no wonder alot of people (especially newbs) don’t make any money – they must spend 2-4 hours per day watching videos for the next great product launch. I’ll be revisiting soon, thanks again.
Sydney October 22nd
Looking forward to hearing more.
Andrea October 22nd
I’m looking forward to your posts. While I see lots of so called “review” sites, it’s hard to find information that truly reviews a product or service, or even a specific method.
Dan Walter October 22nd
Good idea Jeff. I too want to do this very thing. I’m sick of all the big claims. But to be honest the people who promote these programs are appealing to our greed. We WANT to believe there is this huge pot of gold “out there” with OUR name on it. But you have to ask yourself, if these programs are so great why are they selling them at all? And, why are they selling them for .. $97 ? People have to think before they spend their hard on money on any of these programs. I’ve made it a point to Google “review such-n-such”. It pays to read what others are saying. I highly recommend everyone does this FIRST, not after they sent their money!

The hypocracy amongst gurus is legendary. We know that. I have even had them recommend a product by one of their ‘close internet friends’ only to recommend another product rubbishing the information in the first.
I have also learned that you cannot run an internet business and work full time. These gurus work long hours to get started and become adept a ripping you off. And I don’t mean by only selling you crappy products. Some big names in certain internet businesses have walked away with a lot of peoples’ money through devious and clever means.
And have you noticed that when you unsubscribe from their lists your spam increases considerably. Funny that.
Thankfully after a lot of searching I have recognised some good people to be associated with and when I am satisfied that I have my golf handicap down to a respectable level I will have another look at the internet with less trust and more common sense. And now less money.
You have to enjoy the challenges though. It makes life interesting.
Keep well Jeff.
Jim Darwin October 22nd
I thought that your post was VERY GOOD! and intend to keep reading. Of course, I expect you to try to soft sell in the future, but if your wares are as good as this post, I might be willing to buy. I have saved your name in my keep-file; Most sendings get deleted.

Hey Jeff I am not surprised as there is so much PLR & MRR stuff out there including yours it seems like it would be hard to find something really original.

Will be interesting to follow you and see if your truly different, or more of the same old CRAP
News October 22nd
Hey Jeff,
You know yourself that many of the techniques that guru’s use work, but the main difference is that they have money to pay outsourced help to push the boundaries right to the edge, and beyond.
And, with most if not ALL new affiliates, they do not have the financial resources to do this, so when someone says it made them $20.7million in less than 39 seconds, you can bet there is a team if people working it in the background, if not an army.
Yes, I am one if many thousands of fools that have seen the glint of the pot of gold and thought I could recreate the same effect using my own hands and no extra resources – and how wrong I was. In most if not all cases.
So to echo your thoughts, yes it would be good if someone could be honest about the industry and products that work, don’t work or need extra bolt on goodies or help – but based on experience of other marketers saying exactly the same, I will cast judgement once I have reviewed your reviews.
Problem I find is that no matter what it is, at the end of the day you need to sell affiliate products to make money, because that’s your industry. So tell people like it is, and remove the $ signs from your mind when doing it, well apart from the ones that tell us how much extra it will cost on the initial investment to make the system work fully and earn ‘US’ money, not just you.
Regards
Darren

Hey Jeff, I have been trying to do internet marketing from around February 2010, I have purchased many different software products up to date, at a cost of around £700 (NOT DOLLARS). My first product I got was from Micheal Jones, called (The Affiliate Code), after watching all the videos and tried to follow them, I discovered that on trying to do the same as him, I could not follow him as he seemed to use another system from what I had on my computer and I just could not follow him. Since then I just gave up on it, determind not to give in I stupidly kept buying other products to try and make money, so far not a penny have I made, just spend. Is this just because im what you term a newby, or is it that these people are just selling me junk to make a living, that I am so stupid to keep buying from them and help making them rich and making myself very poor. Now I had to decide to stop all this buying as I live on around £500 a month and just cannot afford to do it anymore. Is their any other solution, or can you give me any type of advice to help me.
Yours in Anticipation Stephen!

Thanks Jeff for the post.
I think the most important problem into the IM field is that ALL those so-called guru are able to produce thousand of websites that make xxxx dollars per month, but when you ask them to post a single URL, nothing appears…
Come on, if an IM is able to build thousand of websites that produce money, is it so “risky” to post one single URL as a proof? Uhmmm smells no good.
ALSO
I think testing is more important than other else… if you could posting here tests with “real” URLs would be VERY valuable.

Hi Jeff,
I have been following various Internet Marketers for over 2 years now! I have also tryed out many promising offers without earning a Dime!
So before I make my next mistake throwing my money out of the window, i am very anxious to hear what you have to say about all this!
Still Struggeling…………………..and no sign of any Help!
Texas Gent October 22nd
It would certainly be refreshing if someone really bought products or services, used them, and told the truth about them. So many claim they will give you a behind the curtains look, an inside look, blow the lid off, expose, reveal, etc… and the list goes on and on… but noone actually does anything but hype up what they are promoting.
I have only made money with two IM related products or services. Both were memberships that I have been a part of for many years now. The other products I have made money from are not IM related., but products that appeal to the masses of consumers.
The one common thread that runs through each of the products or services that I make money from is the fact that I actually use them myself, and they work. Making money as an affiliate is just icing on the cake.
Personally, there’s not much, if anything I have seen that I would touch in the IM area, or reccomend to my followers or subscribers. When I see things with screen shots, I run. When I see things claiming to make you thousands of dollars a day or hundreds of thousands of dollars a year that they are only selling for $47, I run. Come on, let’s be real. If you have something that is actually making you $2,000 a day… would you sell it for $37 or $47?
So if you actually come through and pull this off Jeff, you are definately the man in my book. I am so looking forward to seeing this.

Hi Jeff,
I’ve bought a fair few programs down the road – I’ve been doing this since 2003. There is only one piece of software that has earned me money – I’ve been using it since 2003 and that has probably earned me around USD$700,000 the rest have been a waste of time. It certainly wasn’t get rich software – in fact that was the only piece of software that I purchased which didn’t have any hard sell. It still works today in making money. Thank god
Most software is just re-hashed junk.

I’m new to IM and from what I have experienced so far, these guys that are making “millions” are all using the same methods. They have dozens or even hundreds of sites that give them a regular stream of income, but then every few weeks they send you an email touting some new IM product that “they have looked at and really like.”
Or they come out with their own new product that costs hundreds, even thousands of dollars. In my opinion, that’s just a bunch of hyped crap and I don’t appreciate it.
It seems like a lot of these so-called gurus are very much like the mult-levelers that are super hyped on the newest mult-level product and will tell you that you can work part-time and get rich. It’s a load of crap.

Good for you, Jeff! I’M heartily sick & tired of buying products that are so much like the last one, that I have to ask for a refund! Hi Jeff,
My quest for making money online began in 2001 and I am subscribed to hence a LOT of other internet marketer’s lists!
New internet marketing product launches are available every single day and is getting worse every year. I agree that there are a few products with real value out there but most of the are worthless.
I recently bought an internet marketing product and I was VERY disappointed of the product and all the hype.
And this the real purpose of having a blog. To HELP people! And especially newbies that think that EVERY product out there is the biggest opportunity of making money.
Well done for your aim to help people with your new blog. I am sure that you are going to help many newbies and advanced internet marketers in the future.
Take care,

With identity theft running rapid and scams all about I am not sure who to trust anymore. I have been scammed with the promise of quick, easy, lots of money and easy to use. I would like to see these guru’s/marketers put their money where their mouth is and show someone the in and outs of what needs to be done. I would also like to see a guarantee on these items which states if I can’t help you you do not pay me.

Hi Jeff,
The thing I have against the IM community is when people develope a ‘system or program’ and it really works they milk it dry making huge amounts of money. Then, they tell everyone on their list and any other list they can get to promote the ‘system or program’ they have just found a great ‘new’ way of generating money.
What most won’t tell you is it takes huge amounts of money to make these things work in the first place.
I’ve decided I’m not ‘investing’ in anything from now forward unless the creator will let me use the program and make money like the sales page states BEFORE THEY GET ANY OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.
Let’s see how many of the so called honest gurus out there will really put their money where there mouth is and back up what they preach.
I’d be willing to bet I’ve poured more money into IM in the last 13 years than anyone who has commented here or who will comment here on your post.
I’ll give you a hint at how much that figure is: If I had all that money back I could pay off 2/3′s of what we have left on our mortgage and that’s almost 200K.
I’m tired of all the lies and deception from people who say they are going to share and help others in the IM community when all they care about is their own pocket and living like Bill Gates or Donald Trump.
Like one of the other posters said, “I just don’t need to buy any more junk”.
Just so you know I’m not against anyone making money online and making a lot of money. I guess I’ve just been to honest to make any real money but that’s just my personal values and I’ll never stray from that even if I have to go to my grave flat ass broke. I’ll know I’ve never taken advantage of anyone to make a buck.
Jeff, I’ll be watching what you come up with and hope you will be different than everyone else out there today.

Link Building Strategies October 23rd
It’s really amazing how much crap gets pumped into the “hyperverse” every day… loads of it. I used to watch a lot of it and even buy some to see if there might be anything real in it, but 99% of what comes out is really geared to fleecing newbies and there is nothing noble about that.
I’ve started unsubscribing from any guru’s list that pumps out this stuff, or that promotes it, which leaves me down to just a handful now. I think by the time you get down to 4 gurus in the IM world that you even take the time to listen to, that means you’ve graduated.
If you just stay focused on solid content, good links, list building, and creating virtual assets that actually have value for visitors, then you will have something… if not, you are just wasting your time and giving your money away.
I agree with Ted above… perhaps we should all buy these big packages and then all submit for refunds and drive their return rate through the roof?….. I suppose that’s a bit aggressive, but I’m really sick of being bombarded with it.
They are almost all promoted through ClickBank, which irritates me even more because I think it devalues anything real that is associated with it. I just created a new WordPress theme and I did not use ClickBank for that very reason… it’s become a hive of unsavory product launches. Instead I used a premium WordPress plugin (that I got from tipsandtricks-hq.com) that automates taking PayPal payments and it works so beautifully… it’s sooooo seamless and completely secure!
To be completely objective though, I think it’s also fair to say that those promoters would not be able to get away with selling those packages if people were grounded enough to know what hype sounds like. There is apparently a demand for the psychological need to satisfy unrealistic expectations by purchasing the guru’s latest “trick” and not really trying to execute anything because they are information junkies… not really doers. Armchair marketers buy all kinds of their stuff, and then do nothing with it. So, it’s kinda hard to blame them for putting it in a pretty package and satisfying that desire. I wouldn’t want my name on it, but it’s the “gurus” that are laughing all the way to the bank!
There really are better ways to do things if you just take the time to figure things out instead of waiting for a new guru course to come out… but, too often, I find that the average person wants all the benefits of the internet marketing lifestyle, but is not prepared for the amount of serious learning involved in order to really get there.

Yes I bought 3 of these programs, two of them I immediately requested a refund for, the 3rd program is somewhat different but I now have trouble using the software that was in the package. I’m awaiting to see what the support will be like on this.
More and more marketers are becoming hardsellers and it has only made me more critical than ever before. I find myself deleting my email from many lists on a daily basis now, something I should have done a long time ago.

Like Wim, I just bought a program (G Sneak), which really looked interesting at first, but now the software doesn’t work. I’m also waiting for customer support to see whether I refund or not.
Really, tired of buying stuff that isn’t anywhere near what it’s cracked up to be, and like so many others, very tired of all the upsells and downsells. If the products are as good as they are hyped, then they shouldn’t need any upsell to make them work as promised.

Hello,
Like you I’m sick… much too information. I already send to the devil many gurus that send me pure junk.

Hello!
I agree with you that we should share about the systems that work and the one that don’t!

It is a jungle out there. No one is forthright and everyone is after the buck. Affiliate marketing is extremely difficult you need years to build your brand. You can make a killing in PPV for the submit offers real quick but no one really wants to teach that. Look out for those pop ups that come up and see what websites they are scraping url’s

Just tell us how to do what we need to do… you are on the right lines with your video tutorials, on how to do this, do this next, and so on.
If you could do that kind of thing… I WOULD BUY YOUR PRODUCTS, NO PROBS.

how about an extensive list of what things have worked and what things haven’t worked – i’m sick of stuff like Auto Commission Bot.
This will clearly not work – it has to be a joke… right… but they are oh so tempting.
